In the previous episode, Eni imposed a second condition before mediation meetings could begin: I had to remove online content it considered offensive and refrain from new campaigns against the company.
Compliance would be verified before the meetings.
🔹 WHY DID I AGREE?
After more than 20 years of dispute, I interpreted this condition as a possible sign that Eni was willing to negotiate.
I agreed—not because I was withdrawing my allegations, but because I wanted to give mediation a genuine chance.
🔹 WHAT DID I REMOVE?
▪️ ENI’S WAY blog: Taken offline through Blogger.
▪️ ENISWAY.COM: No longer displayed the blog.
▪️ ENI’S WAY Facebook (Meta), Twitter (X) and Instagram: Pages and accounts deleted.
▪️ Personal social media: Eni-related publications removed.
▪️ LinkedIn: Articles deleted, but hundreds of older posts proved difficult to access.
🔹 DECEMBER 16–17: LINKEDIN SUPPORT
LinkedIn’s Executive Escalations Case Manager acknowledged my difficulty accessing posts published before January 2019.
On December 17, support confirmed that its engineering team could delete posts directly, provided I specified the dates and authorized access to my account.
I did both, requesting the deletion of all posts from when I joined LinkedIn through December 2019.
However, my original LinkedIn account ended up being deleted.
I had to create a new professional profile.
🔹 DECEMBER 20: DOCUMENTING COMPLIANCE
I prepared a seven-page report for NCP Brazil, with screenshots documenting the measures taken across my websites and social networks, including the LinkedIn situation.
I also offered to transfer the ENISWAY.COM domain to Eni, if the company wished.
The blog was no longer publicly accessible, but Blogger’s 90-day deletion period meant it had not been permanently erased.
By then, I had:
✅ Accepted the Good Offices.
✅ Agreed to Eni’s first condition.
✅ Approved both mediators in just 49 minutes.
✅ Taken concrete steps to satisfy Eni’s second condition.
✅ Documented those measures in a seven-page report.
All before the first actual mediation meeting.
After two decades, I still hoped for a mutually agreed resolution.
🔷 NEXT EPISODE — WHAT WOULD THE GOOD OFFICES DISCUSS?
🔴 After 25 years, why has Eni not submitted the facts and documents of the Flinto Case to a truly independent investigation?
I do not ask anyone to believe me.
I ask you to examine the documents before reaching a conclusion.
