Eni refuses to investigate

Yesterday, I presented the official version of events that Eni shared with its shareholders and other stakeholders.

Today, I want to talk about the other story.

The one that does not appear in the document “Questions & Answers Before the 2017 Shareholders’ Meeting”.

The one that has never been subjected to an independent investigation.

Over more than two decades, I have gathered documents, court decisions, corporate communications, historical records and evidence that tell a very different version of the events.

A version that was not recently created.

A version that has existed since 2001.

A version supported by facts, dates, testimonies and undeniable documents.

During these 25 years, I submitted this body of evidence to different levels of the company:

🔹 Five different Boards of Directors (2002, 2009, 2014, 2020 and 2023).

🔹 Three different CEOs (Vittorio Mincato, Paolo Scaroni and Claudio Descalzi).

🔹 Different compliance and governance functions.

Yet one question remains unanswered:

📌 If Eni’s version is truly the correct one, why has an independent investigation never been conducted to compare it against the existing documents and evidence?

After all, the truth should not fear independent verification.

Tomorrow, we will explore why this question remains so important after a quarter of a century.
